Offering a housing benefit to those who serve the community is an excellent way to give back to well deserving professionals, and help grow their market share. With the introduction of the Heroes program, Wallace Real Estate is making a statement to our men and women in uniform: “We value your service, and we want your business.”
Program Requirements
LeadingRE Heroes program offers a credit equal to 20% of the function side commission paid at closing to the buyer or seller enrolled in the program. There is no additional referral fee paid to LeadingRE. As certain states do not allow payment of such a rebate, it is the broker’s responsibility to understand and adhere to local and state laws on providing the rebate/credit. All clients are required to be registered in the program at the time they start working with the agent. If clients request the program after their transaction is in process, the brokerage may leave it up to discretion of the agent to offer the benefit.

Registration Link:
Please register your client with Relocation department using this link. Please choose Leading RE Hero on the dropdown as the type of referral. This is only a registration to help us track how many heroes we are offering the program.
Eligibility Form:
Please use the eligibility form to verify eligibility for your client. Please sign the form as well as your client and forward to chart@wallacetn.com for the file. Please keep copy and add to your file in Skyslope.
Rebate Disclosure:
It is recommended that you have a discussion with your client and go ahead and have the rebate disclosure ready when making an offer. Please discuss with lender about this program and check with them on what is covered and considered the benefit when asking for closing costs – as this benefit could cover some of those costs. No signatures are needed. This is just to notify all parties in this transaction. The rebate disclosure will help you calculate the amount of the benefit for your client.
Important Tips:
- Please make sure to work closely with lender and title company as this benefit will have to be given on the Alta. The benefit is not cash back or a check written after closing.
- Seller – reduction of agent commission by 20%
- Buyer – reduction of agent commission by 20% and will show as a credit to the buyer for closing costs or whatever the lender may allow to be covered.
It is recommended by LeadingRE, that if an agent would like to participate in the program and offerings to their clients, they should be trained and certified.
